TurfMaker 500 can be mounted on a heavy duty 1-ton flatbed truck and coupled with a 500 auxiliary water tank. When using a fire hydrant or other fast-flow water source, this combination provides for 850 gallons of application with only about a five minute interruption to load and mix the second batch. Using the auxiliary tank with garden hoses for filling is usually better if the auxiliary tank can be removed from the truck and placed on the ground. In either case, garden hoses continuously fill the auxiliary tank, so that little time is lost making multiple tank loads on large job sites. Typically, 2 to 3 tank loads can be applied per hour. On landscaping applications where hose applications are required, this set-up is frequently more productive than using a much larger machine. A larger machine must leave the job site to secure more water. |
